The same epic Explore experience, exclusively for you. Gather up five or more friends or family and take over your own departure. Choose from dozens of trips all over the world.

 

About our Exclusive Groups

Did you know that you can choose to take over many of our small group trips as a private group? Simply gather up a group of friends or family (minimum of five people required), choose your trip and tell us your preferred date, and once you’ve accepted our quote, we’ll make it happen! You’ll still have an expert local tour leader on hand, and will follow the itinerary as per the trip page, but the group will be solely made up of your party. Ideal for a special occasion, walking or cycling club, family gathering or just for a more distanced, more exclusive experience.

Exclusive Group FAQs

Can we select any Explore trip to do as an Exclusive Group?
Most of our trips can be taken as an Exclusive Group. Some tours may not be feasible, however, depending on the size of your group. Call us, or book a video consultation, to speak to one of our experts and we’ll be able to let you know what’s possible. Polar and Galapagos trips cannot be operated on a private basis.
Can we choose to travel whenever we want?
In most cases, yes. We’ll always try to work with your preferred date where we can. In some cases, though, seasonality, national holidays and the availability of services may mean that’s not possible. In that case, we’ll work with you to find a suitable alternative date.
How much will it cost?
How much the trip costs will depend on the size of your group and when you’re looking to travel. We can provide an initial estimate cost, and will be able to confirm the final price once we’ve checked availability with our overseas team.
Are you able to customise a trip itinerary for our group?
Unfortunately we are unable to make any changes to the existing itinerary.
How long does it take to confirm availability and price?
We aim to confirm availability and price within 48 hours. Our team will keep you well informed should there be any delay.
If there is an odd number in the group will we need to pay a supplement for a single room?
Yes, you'll typically have to pay a single supplement for one of the rooms. Occasionally we can arrange different room configurations, including triple rooms. Ask your consultant for more information on the rooming options.
Will my loyalty discount apply to an Exclusive Group trip?
Yes. If you are a loyal traveller and qualify for a loyalty discount, we’ll apply this to your individual price. Exclusive Group bookings are not eligible for any other discounts or offers.
