Too many highlights to mention them all - female cheetah and cubs feeding on an impala buck they had killed, gerenuk standing on hind legs to eat leaves off their tea table bush, foolhardy Thomsons gazelles and crowned cranes stalking a lioness, leopards sleeping up trees, the red elephants of Samburu, satin blue guinea fowl, miles of green grass sprinkled with wildflowers.
Tips - we went in Nov -Dec, the season called 'the Short Rains', and the roads in the Masai Mara were very bad. We got bogged in four times and had to wait to be rescued. If you can afford it, go for a 4x4 not a mini bus otherwise you will spend some of your precious game drive time digging out your vehicle.
There are no longer any flamingos at Lake Nakuru, sadly they have moved further north, but there are plenty of white rhinos.
