All our trips are guaranteed but if we think the group size is too small, we may recommend you move to another trip for the best experience. Our average group size is 11 with a maximum of 16.

A lot of our trips are between 8 - 14/15 days however we design a lot of our trips to be combinable. For example, the Malta & Gozo tour can be combined with the tour to Sicily. We have a wide range of combinable tours.

Our average age is around early 60s however depending on the trip you might find a much broader range of ages from late 30s up to late 70s.

Our tours are inclusive of breakfasts and a few meals organised by the tour leader; however, meals aren't included in your free time. We do recommend tipping; you can find more information on this in the "Budgeting and packing" section of the trip's webpage.

All our tours can be joined as a solo traveller. About 40% of the people travelling with us are in fact joining as a solo guest. If you want to share with a specific person, we can make sure we let the agent on site know to put you in the same room together. If you’re joining without a friend, we will put you in a room with someone of the same sex.

Yes, also our tour guide will speak any local language so can be a great advocate for the group when going off the beaten track.

Mainly smooth, one corner we passed in the harbour was a little rough but lasted less than a minute. This obviously depends on the wind conditions. Generally, it should be smooth.

We find that the end of October, so towards to the end of the season is the best time to visit. It’s a bit quieter but you still have the warm weather and would be unlucky to get a day of rain.

As with most of Europe, layering is a must! It can be a little breezy but nothing a light jacket can't help with.

Yes, you will not have any trouble in Sicily should you look for vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free options. We do however recommend letting us know in advance, so we can let the tour leader know about your requirements. They will then make sure they’ve got the right options ready for you.

It is hard to predict it exactly but in April we are looking at the lower 20ies degrees Celsius and in September at the lower 30ies. We’re finding that in the Mediterranean it is getting warmer later but staying warmer longer.
