My passion for travel and foreign languages was instilled in me by my mother from a very young age. Although our finances didn't allow for exotic once-in-a-lifetime holidays, our home was always full of travel guides, art and history books, and during the summer holidays we would go on cultural adventures around Italy to discover and learn about the wonders at our doorstep. In high school I used to oversee the planning of school trips abroad for my classmates and I very soon came to the realisation that what I wanted to do with my life was to organise itineraries that would take others (and myself!) to amazing places.
While specialising in Italy as an adventure travel destination, over time I have developed a strong passion for Asia and some of my fondest travel memories are of cooking traditional food at a guesthouse on the Mekong Delta or buying a second-hand silk haori in Tokyo. Not to mention how obsessed I become with the local cuisine; on my return I tend to spend weeks trying to replicate the goodies I sampled while travelling. So blessed to be able to call my day job my passion!
