Jae spent the summer youth-hosteling around Holland when she was 16, then a year travelling around the world a few years later, and has had the travel bug since. She has three sons who she has revelled in sharing the joy of travel with, and all of whom are now confident travellers. Jae has been lucky enough to climb
Kilamanjaro as well as taking big groups of her friends (well - anyone she vaguely knew who she could convince!) up Toubkal, to the Picos de Europa, and to Everest Base Camp.
Jae's favourite ever quote is from Mark Twain: "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime."
