With a background as a tour leader in the Middle East and Far East, Ali can weave travel tales and unravel cultural gems. Having ventured far and wide, Ali knows many hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path trails in Europe and beyond, and has developed a soft spot for wildlife that rivals David Attenborough's. Gardens are her sanctuary, while cycling and walking holidays are her true travel loves. One of her favourite travel moments was watching the Northern Lights while sitting in a hot spring in Alaska (all while sporting a mosquito head net!).
