When to Travel

There is no wrong time to visit South Africa. November to March is hot, and a great time to safari and sightsee. May to October is whale-watching season and cooler on the south coast.

WILDLIFE, WILDLIFE, WILDLIFE

South Africa offers the opportunity for a variety of exhilarating journeys. Enjoy safaris in Kruger National Park, relaxed journeys through the wine-laden vineyards of Stellenbosch, the Garden Route’s spectacular coastline and attractions of Cape Town including the imposing Table Mountain. Stretching from the poignant Zulu battlefields to Cape Agulhas, the continent’s southernmost point, South Africa is steeped in cultural heritage.

Meet Anneli Rudiger, Regional Specialist for South Africa

 Anneli
"South Africa is a great mix of old meets new; historical battlefields and an emotional apartheid history stand beside the modern, vibrant V&A Waterfront in Cape Town where seals pop up unexpectedly. I love game drives in Kruger National Park, whale watching in Hermanus, hiking along trails in the dramatic Drakensberg mountains and coastal walks along the rugged beaches of the Indian Ocean."
