We had THE MOST unforgettable holiday ever in Ethiopia. The scenery was amazing and the country was so rich in culture and heritage; not to mention the friendliness of the locals. Most importantly our tour guide Eyob was exceptional. He was well presented, friendly, knowledgable, punctual and made an incredible effort to explain in details at each destination. Eyob took us to some of the most delicious restaurants in town and we tried the local food. He is the most distinguished tour leader that I have encountered in my life, his performance deserves an applause. The drivers were all very knowledgable in all areas; we were never lost at all; the vehicles were clean, tidy and comfortable. Eyob and his driver even took us to the airport which was unexpected (I thought transfer to airport was not included). The hotels selected were very clean, tidy with ensuite every night. The locations couldn't be better (all of them were downtown). The farewell dinner (with local dance performance) was unforgettable and most enjoyable.
