How was your Explore Tour Leader?

Wonderful, she made the holiday!  Her local knowledge and organisation were excellent and she was so lovely.

What tips would you give to someone else booking this tour?

None of the meals, other than breakfasts,  are included in the price but most meals were taken at the hotels we stayed in and were buffets.  They were excellent,  very reasonably priced and in a few places you could pay by credit card.

Do you have anything else to add?

We chose this holiday because it was billed as ‘off beat’ and it was.  We went to a few touristy places (that we wanted to see) but a lot of the time we were in towns and villages where few tourists go.  A great mix of rural and city, history and culture.  Places described as forts would be better described as fortified palaces as they were very grand.
