When to travel?
Cuba has a hot, sub-tropical climate all year round. Most rain falls between May and October and hurricanes can occur between August and November. The cooler months are January to April with temperatures as low as 20ºC, offering comfortable temperatures for exploring the island.

Viñales
Drive out west to Viñales, widely considered to be home to Cuba’s most beautiful scenery. The drive takes you along an empty motorway, passing by only the occasional vintage car or cyclist. Discover the stunning landscape on a guided walk through the valleys of Viñales. A land of mogotes, witness the hulking rock formations rising up out of the red soil.

To Santiago

Once in Santiago, head to El Morro – a 17th century fortress overlooking Santiago bay and beyond to the Sierra Maestra Mountains for a wonderful sunset.
