Two popular beer festivals coming to Prague this summer
People planning solo holidays in Eastern Europe should ensure they visit a cultural institution in the Czech capital of Prague.
This summer will play host to multiple beer festivals, which are a fantastic way to soak up the local environment and cultural stylings of the city.
Two of the more popular beer festivals are the Czech Beer Festival Prague and Pilsner Fest, the second of which is held in August.
In a statement, the Czech Tourism Board said that there are all sorts of events surrounding these festivals that people on solo holidays could take part in.
"As the Pilsner Fest is also a popular music festival, you can enjoy an exciting array of bands and an accompanying program," the statement reads.
"Another highly sought-after activity during the Fest is a tour of the brewery and we recommend that you book early."
Prague, which sits on the Vltava River, can get very hot in the summer months (the average temperature for June and July is around 30 degrees centigrade).
