Author and television presenter recommends travelling to Rwanda on adventure holidays

If travellers who are planning adventure travel holidays want to include some wildlife-watching on their trip, they may wish to visit Rwanda.

According to Jeremy Head, an author of travel guides and television presenter, who wrote about a travel experience to the East African country in an article for the Daily Telegraph.

The travel expert said that one of the best things to do in Rwanda is visit the Parc National des Volcans and see the gorillas.

"Rwanda is renowned for its gorillas and they didn't disappoint," he wrote.

"In the far north-west of the country, in the Volcanoes National Park, seven groups of eight visitors get to spend an hour each day in proximity to some of the planet’s last remaining mountain gorillas."

The mountain gorilla is a critically endangered species that is found in three
African countries: Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

An adventure travel tour taking in the first two of these three countries along with the famously wildlife-rich Kenya would guarantee a fulfilling adventure holiday experience.
