The Golden Well offers some of the world's best views
Travellers hoping to take an activity break in the Czech Republic may wish to visit a hotel that has been voted the best in the world.
The Golden Well hotel, in the Czech capital of Prague, has won the top award in this year's Travellers' Choice Awards, organised by a leading travel advice website.
U Zlate Studne (in its native language) was voted number one on the list of top 25 hotels in the world by users of Trip Advisor.
Many readers of the travel advice website praised the hotel for its views and general location. The Golden Well is located in the shadow of the walls of Prague Castle and is five minutes away from the famous Charles Bridge.
The hotel's intimate dining room seats 26 and 38 people can eat on the rooftop terrace overlooking "the city of 1000 spires".
Taking in the breathtaking vistas is only one of the things to do in Prague. It offers some of the most beautiful classical music venues in the world, including the castle itself.
