Prague Castle is the Czech Republic's 'most beautiful'
Prague's eponymous castle is "unparalleled" in the whole of the Czech Republic and it is a "duty" for tourists on solo holidays to take it in, according to the country's promotional body.
Czech Tourism, an organisation which aims to promote travel to the European country, has noted that the record-breaking Prague Castle is one of the "most beautiful" examples of the type of building in the country.
"Prague Castle holds a number of records. First of all, it is the largest castle in the world, entered in the Guinness Book of Records. It is also the most visited Czech monument among tourists," the organisation noted.
"It is the most important of Czech castles, because from time immemorial it has been the residence of sovereigns, and currently the president."
There are many examples of fantastic and beautiful architecture in Prague that people on solo holidays might wish to take in, such as Charles Bridge and the whole of the city's famous Old Square.
