My dream as a little girl was always to go to Africa. During my first full time job in travel I saved and saved and at the age of 21 left my job and booked myself onto a 10 week overland trip from Kenya to Zimbabwe. My dreams became reality – it was my best holiday ever. 

My dream travelling companion has to be David Attenborough; he comes across as so knowledgeable and kind. I’d love to travel with him to Antarctica – in fact, Antarctica is the next major place on my list and the saving has begun.

My funniest travelling moment ever was when my friends’ parasol fell on top of her on the beach, I could only see her legs and it took the help of the gentleman next to us to get it off as I was laughing so much. It was a small cove and as we walked down to the sea everyone was checking up on her. Needless to say after 10 minutes she wanted to leave the beach.
